3rd May 2003 Windsurfing: Bala Wind Direction: WSW Wind Stength: Force 2 Surf / Sea State: Smooth Air Temperature: 16 Sea Temperature: OK Weather: Cloudy Max Speed: Distance Covered: Bank Holiday weekend and the weather prediction were force 3/4 SW for the Saturday. Arrived usual time (11.00) and expected things to start picking up so went with the 7.1. Went out, flapped about a bit so came in rigged up 8.6, still not much better. Had a few more trips across to the boat club and back but it just didn't pick up. As it was a bit cloudy and not really the weather to sit around in a damp wet suit decided that, that was enough for today. Disappointing. Iain |
